Streetcar Named Theatre I

Finally, we performed the play the 6th of June and...everything was perfect! Our teacher told us that we did it really good and she was very pleased with us. The sooner we get the video of our play, the sooner you will have a look to it! Hope you liked this blog!

Oh, oh! Last day of rehearsing and...we found some unexpecting troubles! We were using some pieces of furniture that we thought that they belonged to the Theatre but...some people have taken them away today and we don't have some of them! We will try to fix this problem: we are experts in trouble solving!  Moreover, some of our actors have some voice-problems, but tomorrow they will be OK, you will see! Trust on us!

Nobody was born with the ability of rehearsing...Take a look to some outtakes and...let's laugh!

Too much work to do, but also too many photos to show! Here you can see how the group is working and improving. Every single second of hard-working is essential.

We don't owe a theatre. That's true. We are wishing to rehearse more than we are able to do at the theatre. So, what shall we do? Well, Seville is full of places and we thought about rehearsing in public. Shame? What is that? We went to Plaza de España and we spent a very funny morning while La Feria de Abril was taking place. Beginnings are hard, but being in a good company and enjoying at work make them easier!

We all knew that rehearsals were closer and closer...and there they were! We were anxious to be on stage, practising and rehearsing. We had been working on an adaptation of the original play, and the first we did was an "official" lecture. However...we failed: 50 minutes! And if we added time for closing the curtain, changing scenes...we better did not think about that! Too much work, revising, readapting...but also the first laughs and a good atmosphere! Here, there are some photos about this first time on stage (reading and rehearsing). Time seems too short when you are having a good time at work! We couldn't wait to meet again for the next rehearsals!
